Opportunities for learning build understanding about individual faith traditions. Each Living Faiths event will be hosted by local worshipping communities creating shared spaces for interaction and will include: - A morning spent in a place of worship focusing on one faith tradition
- A 'Walk of Friendship' to a neighbouring place of worship of another tradition
- A shared meal to express values of hospitality and welcome
- An afternoon spent focusing on another faith tradition

An introductory, whole-day, workshop looking at the place of faith in every aspect of life. Our next workshops are scheduled to take place on 10 September and 13 November in central Leeds. 
Backed up by census data and legislation around faith diversity, the workshop presents a practical and engaging introduction to Religious Literacy within the context of the Equalities and Human Rights agenda. |

This guide has been created by members of the Yorkshire and Humber Faiths Forum as a simple introduction to the nine faith communities represented.
